Thank you, love :D

5. Share one of your strengths.

I like to think I'm okay at writing dialogue? I mean for someone who really doesn't talk much in real life, I think I'm all right when it comes to writing out conversations.

7. Share a snippet from one of your favorite pieces of prose you’ve written and explain why you’re proud of it.

More than a snippet, but I'm proud of chapter 33 of Barriers because I think it's one of the most accurate depictions of a panic attack I've ever written.

15. If you could choose one of your fics to be filmed, which would you choose?

I think either The Twelfth Day or The Chairs would make a nice film. Or Barriers, maybe, it would be too long and boring though.

37. Talk about your current wips.

Well we have the posted ones, so Barriers, Inked, From the Ashes (which I doubt anyone remembers/even read in the first place), and Beneath the Apple Tree. I also have some unposted ones; I've got one where Matt is in an abusive relationship with one of Dom's workmates, a cross dressing trope, a teen AU involving a conservative/homophobic school, a genderswapped teen belldom collab which will probably never be finished, and mpreg collab which hasn't been worked on in over a year lol, and like five million other things I'm probably forgetting haha!

4. How many fic ideas are you nurturing right now? Care to share one of them?

I have so many in my head and slightly written out and in the process of being planned. A specific one I have is one where Matt is in an abusive relationship with one of Dom's workmates, and Dom is the first one to recognize the signs. Lots of angst and hurt/comfort aka the only thing I ever seem to write \o/

10. Which fic has been the easiest to write?

Probably Down to Fuck because it was just smut and Dom being kind of a pervert and Matt being a horny teenager.

13. What’s the best writing advice you’ve ever come across?

Most likely something Kat said to me (I'm in too much pain rn to come up with specifics)

20. Describe your perfect writing conditions.

Rainy day, a cup of tea, lots of blankets, emo music, and someone else in the doc to cheer me on <3

KISSES YOU <3

2. Is there a trope you’ve yet to try your hand at, but really want to?

Anything apocalypse/sci-fi, I've wanted to do those for a really long time but I love those subjects so much I'm scared I'd fuck it up :/

3. Is there a trope you wouldn’t touch with a ten foot pole?

I FEEL LIKE YOU KNOW THE ANSWER TO THIS ONE DID YOU DO THIS SO THAT I HAVE TO TYPE THE WORDS GODDAMMIT RORY I JUST... Okay............................. Um..... *squirms uncomfortably* /daddy kinks/

32. How do you feel about smut?

As long as it doesn't feel like the author put it there to just put it there, I'm down with smut!

33. How do you feel about crack?

YES I LOVE CRACK it's a nice change from all the angsty shit I torture myself to read all the time

HAHA I wasn't actually thinking of daddy kinks!! I just wondered if there was anything else in general, just out of curiosity. I swear :P

You should totally let yourself play with apocalypse/sci-fi shit, you'd be fantastic at them and I'd love to read your approach to those tropes. You know them inside out, you'd create something stunning. <3

Thank you bb <3

1. Describe your comfort zone—a typical you-fic.

Something with an angsty back story and hurt/comfort, usually with Matt being the hurt one. Lots of fluff and love is usual for me, because I'm a hopeless romantic at heart, to be honest.

6. Share one of your weaknesses.

There are so many :/ I rush, I use a lot of clichés as plot devices, my writing is overall generic and very young adult fiction-esque, which I can't stand at all and would love to get away from, but don't have the talent to

19. Stephen King once said that his muse is a man who lives in the basement. Do you have a muse?

The people around me and my own personal experiences

28. Share three of your favorite fic writers and why you like them so much.

Bluebirdwine because her stories are always so believable and realistic yet one of a kind. She has the ability to write a 6,000 word one-off and fully develop characters and a plot, something I would love to be able to do. Chess_boxing because he comes up with the most BRILLIANT ideas, and he is able to carry them out. A good idea is one thing, and actually going through with a good idea is another. Rory is able to do both those things. Evil_angel because she's able to write dark fics that I actually enjoy. I'm not a fan of BDSM, slave fics, or any sort of torture/nonconsensual stuff, but Shay writes stories that include all those things, and I absolutely love them. She just has a way with words that makes a reader comfortable, no matter the story's content.

Thanks Riv <3

8. Share a snippet from one of your favorite dialogue scenes you’ve written and explain why you’re proud of it.

This text conversation from Inked because I think it sums up Matthew and Dominic's characters perfectly:

“Got rid of Janine, hopefully for good. You’re welcome.

I accept blowjobs as a form of thanks.”

It’s only a few minutes before Dominic’s reply comes through.

“Do you accept rimjobs too?”

9. Which fic has been the hardest to write?

Barriers because it's so personal and Friend or Foe because it was my first time giving horror a try.

29. If you could write the sequel (or prequel) to any fic out there not written by yourself, which would you choose?

Not sure, I think I'd love to just take the characters from one of my favorite AUs (so Do Not Drop the Soap, Son of a Preacher Man, and Evil Angel) and write a fluff-a-thon about what my mind thinks they'd all be up to after the story ended.

14. What’s the worst writing advice you’ve ever come across?

I honestly have no idea, maybe that one time someone told me to stop using "I" so much even though it was a story written in first person?

16. If you only could write one pairing for the rest of your life, which pairing would it be?

Matt and Dom

40. Write an alternative ending to [insert fic title] (or just the summary of one).

I guess another ending could be Dom getting stuck in the past and being in a relationship with like a 20 year age gap lol?? Idk, I never really thought about another ending!
